Maruti Suzuki Victorious SUV: Strong entry in the Indian market
Maruti Suzuki has introduced its new Maruti Suzuki Victorious SUV in the Indian automobile segment, which will directly compete with the Hyundai Creta. The company has launched it with Level-2 ADAS, 5-Star Global NCAP safety rating and advanced features. This SUV will be made in India and will be exported worldwide from here.
Powertrain and performance of Maruti Suzuki Victorious SUV
Three powertrain options have been given in Victorious. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine generates 101 BHP power and 137 Nm torque, which is available with 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox. The CNG variant gives 87 BHP power and 121 Nm torque, while the strong hybrid engine generates 91 BHP power and 122 Nm torque. The CNG model has an underbody tank, which gives the same boot space as the petrol.
Stylish exterior and premium interior
The exterior of the new Victorious is sporty. The vertical hood, angular LED headlamps and front chrome strip give it a powerful look. 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, full-width LED taillamps and gesture-controlled powered tailgate make its design special.
The interior has a layered dashboard, 64-color ambient light, 10.25-inch digital display and touchscreen infotainment system with Alexa and 35+ apps pre-loaded.
Safety and advanced features
Maruti Suzuki Victorious has received 5-star rating from India NCAP and Global NCAP. 6 airbags, electronic stability control, 360-degree camera, heads-up display and level-2 ADAS give it a distinct identity in the segment.
Price and variants
The ex-showroom starting price of Victorious is Rs 10.50 lakh. Prices for the Strong Hybrid start at Rs 16.38 lakh, while the CNG variant is available from Rs 11.50 lakh. The top-end 4-wheel drive variant goes up to Rs 19.22 lakh.
