It started with a moment of passion. It ended with a police report. A couple is now at the center of a bizarre investigation in Scottsdale, Arizona. The lovebirds were caught on surveillance tape having sex outside a French restaurant. Then they allegedly broke in and stole from the place.
The incident unfolded early Saturday morning, October 25th. The location was Mon Chéri, a romantic French-style eatery. The time was just before 4 a.m.
The restaurant’s outdoor area became the scene. Surveillance footage shows a man and a woman. They were engaged in sexual activity right in the floral display. That display is normally where guests take pictures.
But the night didn’t end there.
Break-In and Stolen Loot
The couple’s actions quickly escalated from indecent to criminal. They allegedly broke into the restaurant after their tryst. They reportedly forced the door open. Once inside, they went on a small spree. The suspects stole cash, a phone, and a bottle of Bacardi rum.
Employees discovered the break-in the next day. They arrived to open the restaurant and saw the damage. The front door was clearly forced. Supplies were missing.
